Little Havens is supporting an 11-year-old who has relapsed with cancer, and also has multiple learning disabilities. Every child we care for just wants to be a child, to do the things other children do – even when their condition makes that really hard sometimes. We are so pleased that Smile of Hope has been able to gift this family a holiday the otherwise wouldn’t be able to enjoy. They will be going to Centre Parcs and staying in an accessible lodge, so that the whole family can enjoy some precious time together.

Thanks to Smile of Hope we’ve been able to gift a 5 year old supported by Little Havens a Disney cruise to enjoy with their mum and dad. After having treatment for a brain tumour they have been told there is no cure, and is now being receiving palliative care and support from Little Havens. Although they face many more challenges than other 5 year-olds, they still want to be a child and do the things all children love. This trip will allow the family to make precious memories together and experience the magic of Disney without needing to fly aboard.
