Thank you once again for your generous donation. It enabled us to pay over half for the coach, meaning the parent and teacher’s costs were so much lower to pay for the remainder. I have never been able to take the children to the beach before due to the cost but with your money we were able to take all 14 children and invite their parents too.

We had a total of 15 parents and family adults that came. It’s so important to do things that include the parents as it creates such a big support network for them and builds friendships between children outside of school. Many of the children have struggled in the past with social relationships so to help develop their skills and support network is such an important part of my role as a teacher. 

The children really did have the best day. They paddled in the sea, played ball, dug holes and loved investigating jelly fish that were being washed up!!
