Meet The Volunteer's

Born into a multi-cultural family in Germany, our dedicated worldly-traveller has lived in Cyprus, Bosnia, to only find herself in England. Which explains why Steph is as approachable and inclusive as she is, and why she is resilent enough to put up with likes of Steve's often questionable decisions.

With a heart of gold and a contagious smile that gives hope, Amy greets and aids customers at our events to raise money for the cause when she isn't enjoying therapeutic views of the ocean.

Maureen is nearly a Nonagenarian and is very active. She loves her coach holidays and dancing is her passion. She has so much energy she's a favourite of the younger volunteers.

Born in West Germany, her father was in the British Army and she moved a lot including 3 years in Cyprus. Married to Mike a friendly Kiwi and she loves crunching numbers and helping SOH when she can.

Proud mum of Nat (DOE volunteer). She owns 8 horses and spends her time looking after them, working with a charity bank and supporting her very busy son with his extra curricular activities

Elsie is an Octogenarian and used to be chair of St Edwards dog club for decades where she trained dogs to Crufts standards. She has run the Chislehurst Blind Club for nearly fifty years and well known in the community (Steve's aunt also)

Ted was welcomed into the charity after previous owners heartacheningly donated him away. He now pursues a promising career giving children a smile of hope through cuddle therapy.
